Nashville Hot Tofu Bites

Ingredients

Battered Tofu

  • all-purpose flour
  • almond milk
  • firm tofu, cut into bite-size pieces
  • panko breadcrumbs

Nashville Hot Sauce

  • hot sauce
  • coconut sugar
  • chili powder
  • onion powder
  • garlic powder
  • paprika
  • water

Instructions

  1. 1 Mix flour and almond milk together to form a batter. Cut tofu into bite-size pieces, dip each piece into the batter, then coat well in panko breadcrumbs.
  2. 2 Arrange the coated tofu on a baking sheet and bake at 205°C400°F for 40 minutes until crispy.
  3. 3 While the tofu bakes, combine hot sauce, coconut sugar, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Once the tofu and sauce are fully cooled, toss the tofu in the Nashville hot sauce and serve.

Notes

Crispy, spicy, and completely addictive — these Nashville hot tofu bites deliver serious heat with a satisfying crunch.
