Are there payment-processing fees?
Yes. The payment processor (Stripe) charges its standard card fees on each transaction, separate from the OurRecipes platform fee.
Can I use OurRecipes only for free content?
Absolutely. Many creators run a free Kitchen with recipes, newsletter, and community. You pay nothing until you choose to sell memberships.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime. There is no contract and no monthly bill to cancel—if you stop selling memberships you simply owe nothing.
How are payouts handled?
Member payments are processed through Stripe, and payouts follow Stripe's standard schedule to your connected account. Paid memberships are rolling out with our Stripe launch.
Who handles refunds?
You decide the refund policy for your members, and refunds are processed through the payment flow.
Are taxes included?
No. Prices you set are what members pay; you are responsible for any applicable taxes on your earnings. Consult a tax professional for your situation.
Do I need to connect anything to start?
