Is OurRecipes really free?
Yes. The recipe vault is free, with unlimited recipes, URL imports, grocery lists, and shared kitchens. There are no ads. Printed cookbooks will be an optional paid product when they launch.
How do I save a recipe?
Paste a recipe URL and we pull out the ingredients and steps. You can also paste the recipe text or type it in yourself. Review it, add your notes, and save it to your kitchen.
Does importing work with every website?
Most recipe sites work, but some block access, and AI extraction can make mistakes. Always check ingredients, quantities, and steps before you cook.
Can I share recipes with my family?
Yes. Invite people by email to a shared kitchen and you keep one collection together. You can also send anyone a link to a single recipe; share links last seven days.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. OurRecipes works in your phone’s browser, so your recipes and grocery lists come with you to the counter and the store. There’s no app to install.
Can I print my recipes?
Yes. Every recipe prints as a clean card with just the ingredients and steps. Bound, printed cookbooks are coming soon.
